Learn how to play the card game Asshole, with easy to follow instructions and video!  The asshole card game is one of the most popular drinking games with rules that are super easy to learn.

What you need

Five people and a deck of cards.

To play

Begin by dealing out all of the cards equally to all 4 players. The player on the left of the dealer starts by putting down (face up) any card or cards with the same face value to start a pile. The next person has to then lay down the same number of playing cards as the first player did on the pile, in addition, the cards must be bigger or equal in face value, but they must match each other. For example, if the first player plays a pair of sixes, the second player must then lay down 2 matching cards, that are greater or equal than the sixes, e.g. 2 tens.

If the second player lays down the same value card as the first player on the pile, the third player is then skipped and must take a swig of beer. If the player cannot play a card, they are then skipped and must take a swig of beer. Once all players are skipped (cannot beat the card played), the cards are then all cleared and play continues again until all of the cards have been played.

The player ranking system

1. President: The first player to get rid of all their cards.

2. Vice-President: The second player to get rid of all their cards.

3. Secretary: The third person to get rid of all their cards.

4. Asshole: The last player to get rid of all their cards.

Privileges of the rankings

• Anybody that ranks above you can make you drink whenever they wish.

• The Asshole must deal and clear all the cards.

• The Asshole must also give his two highest cards to the President.

• The President then passes his two worst cards to the Asshole in return.

• If the same player is President for three rounds consecutively, they can then make up a rule (e.g. aces are wild cards, you can only drink with your left hand, anyone who breaks this rule must then drinks).

An exciting card game that comprises of maths and drinking.

Requirements

– One standard deck of 52 cards

– A lot of beer

Object of the game

The object of the game is to play cards into a pile and have the value of the pile total 99 exactly.

Play

You begin by dealing 4 cards to each player, and then you put the remainder of the deck down turning the top card over. Play goes around the group with each person playing a card, mentally keeping track of total value of the pile. However, the cards below have specific implications:

Four

Fours may be used as a skip card, they can also be used to avoid drinking responsibilities and pass them to the next player.

Ten

This acts as a regular card, except when the total value of the pile passes 90+. Once in the 90’s, this card drops the value of pile by 10.

King

These may be used to avoid drinking responsibilities or place drinking tasks on someone else, usually used near end of game.

After you play a card, you must replace the card with another from the stack. When everyone is out of cards, reshuffle those already played. Socials occur whenever the total equals a number ending in 9 (19, 29, 39 etc), at which point all players must all drink. Special socials on 69 and 71. On special socials, you must drink twice.

When someone throws down the card that results in the pile equalling 99, the next person must drink 1/2 glass, unless they have a special card (hopefully a King, this allows them to pick the person they want to drink).

Beeramid https://cardgameheaven.com/drinking-card-games/beeramid.html Sun, 03 Mar 2013 23:23:06 +0000 http://localhost:31499/?p=211 Beeramid is a game that contains an enormous amount of drinking. A great drinking game, similiar to Fire Square, guarenteed to get you smashed.

Requirements

– One standard deck of 52 cards

– Plenty of beverage

Play

A Beeramid (pyramid) of cards is built by positioning a particular number of cards face down in a row (usually seven) as the base and building up until there is one card as the top of the Beeramid (as shown below).

The residual cards are allocated as evenly as possible between the players. The dealer flips over the first card at the foot of the beeramid and declares the card value. Anybody who claims to possess that card may “give” one drink to any other player. That player may either drink or call the bluff by saying “bullshit”.

If the player who claimed to have the card, does in fact have the card after all, he shows the card and the other player must drink twice. If he was lying, he drinks twice himself. Once a row of the Beeramid is finished, the first card on the next row is flipped, and every card now has the same value in drinks as its row, for instance if a card is flipped on row three, players now “give” three drinks, should they claim to have a matching card this continues all the way up to the seventh row.

All “bullshit” calls still double the value of the row, making them increasingly risky propositions as the game continues. Should a player have more than one of a particular card (say a seven is flipped and a player has two sevens in his hand) he can give both drinks to the same person or split them up amongst two players.

He is only required to show both cards if both players call bullshit; if just one player calls bullshit he is only required to show one card. At the seventh row, if people are taking truthful drinks, a bullshit call must result in about a full beer being drank.

Requirements

– One standard deck of 52 cards

– Plenty of beverage

– A player who is willing to become the dealer

Play

To begin play someone has to offer their services as a dealer. The other players in the game then become the “guessers.”

The dealer grasps the deck face down and asks the first player to guess the colour of the card they are about to turn over. Obviously since there are only black or red cards in the deck there is a 50/50 chance of choosing correctly. If the “guesser” is correct in their choice then there is no consequence and the player chooses again, for they must correctly guess the colour of three consecutive cards before passing their turn to the next player. If the “guesser” is incorrect they then must take large sips of their beverage equalling the number of cards which they had chosen accurately up to that point, plus one for the mistake. For instance, if a player had accurately predicted twice but failed on their third attempt the penalty would be to 3 drinks.

Once an inaccurate guess has been made all cards are removed from the table and positioned in an individual pile. The “guesser” has to begin again to correctly predict the colour of three cards in a row.

Once a player has accurately predicted the colour of three consecutive cards they have two choices.

– First, they may pass their turn to the next player and with it the three successful cards. Basically, if the next player were to be inaccurate in their initial guess the total punishment would be four drinks.

– The second choice would be to continue predicting, with correct predictions accumulating cards to be delivered to the next player at any point. However, an incorrect prediction will force the player to again try to guess three cards in a row before passing. Furthermore, this player will have to drink a sum of all the correct guesses plus one for the failed attempt.

Once all cards have been used the dealer can be rotated or the current dealer can continue on using the cards formerly removed from the table.

Brain Damage https://cardgameheaven.com/drinking-card-games/brain-damage.html Sun, 03 Mar 2013 23:28:26 +0000 http://localhost:31499/?p=217 Brain Damage is a high volume drinking game which involves playing Black Jack to 7, while this game may seem puzzling at first, most people will soon get the idea once you've played a quick round.

Learn how to play the drinking card game Brain Damage with easy to follow instructions and video.

Requirements

– One standard deck of cards, but with all the 8s, 9s and the red 10s removed

– A lot of beverage

Play

Brain Damage is played just like Blackjack, but to 7.5 points. Face cards are valued at half a point, Aces are worth one, black 10s are wild and 2-7 are at their face value.

The cards are placed face down, and everybody picks a card to determine the sequence of dealing. The highest card deals first, and then dealing will maintain from the next highest draw to the lowest. Black 10 is the highest card (7.5 points), trailed by 7, 6 etc, down to Ace (1 point), then face cards (worth half a point). You cannot quit the game until you have dealt. Hence why dealing first is good, whereas dealing last has been known to result in “Brain Damage”.

The dealer grabs the deck, and deals 1 card face down to the first player, and 1 card face down to themselves. The player views their card, then bets any quantity of beverage, a large shot glass is generally a good threshold. Ensuring their card concealed from the other players, they can take as many hits as they want. But, if they go over 7.5, they must declare that fact, and then drink the bet.

However, should the player gets a “5 card Charlie” (5 cards, not busted), they win instantly.

Should the player not go over 7.5 once they have taken as many hits as they want, the dealer will turn over their card, and then hits up until they believe they have beaten the other player. If the dealer busts, just like the player had to, they drink the bet.

When the dealer is assured with their hand, the player turns over their card, and the lowest total drinks the bet. If the totals are even, the player must drink. The dealer then moves on to the next player, replicating the process until the deck is finished.

Play continues until each player has dealt.

Bus Driver https://cardgameheaven.com/drinking-card-game/bus-driver.html Sun, 03 Mar 2013 23:30:48 +0000 http://localhost:31499/?p=220 Bus Driver is a great drinking game designed for two players only.

Learn the fun drinking card game, bus driver with easy to follow instructions and video!

Requirements

– One standard deck of 52 cards – aces are low

– Two players only

– Plenty of beverage

Object of the game

The goal is to get to the front of the bus in one string. This gets constantly tougher as the game progresses.

Play

Select one player to become the “Rider” and the other will become the “Bus Driver”. The bus driver shuffles a deck of cards and places 5 cards face down on the table.

He then asks the rider whether the last card dealt is black or red. If the rider predicts incorrectly he takes one sip of his beverage (which should be pretty strong). The card he predicted at is then cast-off and the “Bus Driver” deals another 5 cards face down on top of the 4 that remain.

If the rider was to guess accurately, the bus driver would then ask him whether or not the next card in the line will be greater or lower than the one that was just turned over. If he chooses accurately the driver continues turning cards and asking the higher or lower query until the rider either gets to the front of the bus (all the cards have been flipped) or guesses wrong.

If he does choose incorrectly then he must sip once for that card and once for every card that he guessed correctly previously in the string. When every card has been dealt out you simply go down the line until you get to the front of the bus.

This game is virtually impossible to defeat on a single string and most of the time you end up taking 52 sips. When the player does eventually get to the front of the bus every person in the room must down their drink.

Cheat https://cardgameheaven.com/drinking-card-games/cheat.html Sun, 03 Mar 2013 23:32:20 +0000 http://localhost:31499/?p=223 Definitely one of the greatest and most famous drinking games of all time.

Learn how to play the drinking card game, Cheat, with our easy to follow instructions and video!

Requirements

– One standard deck of 52 cards (more than one deck may be needed when playing with many people)

– Plenty of beverage

– Four or more players

Object of the game

The object of the game is to be the first player to lose all their cards.

Play

Deal all the cards out. The person to the left of the dealer goes first. This player must put down one or more Aces. But, the player who puts the card(s) face down in the centre of the table must then state what they just played. (for instance “One Ace!”). The next player must play a card (or cards) either one below, one above or equal to the previous card (or cards), for instance if the card played before the player was an ace, they can either play a king, an ace or a two, this continues around.

If a player does not have one of the required card values that they must play, they still have to play a card (or more than one). The gist is to play it and announce it as a card that can be played, so that the other players trust you. If any player distrusts you, they shout “Cheat!” and the player then checks what that player played.

If the accusing player is right, the cheating player must pick up all the cards and drink.

If the accusing player is wrong, he/she must pick up all the cards and drink!

Some additional rules: Pretty much all forms of cheating are permitted. Hiding cards, creeping in more cards than you announce, etc. But, all of these violations are punishable, if you are caught, and of course you must pick up all the cards.

Play continues around the circle up until a player runs out of cards. All other players must chug the remainder of their beverage.

Requirements

– One standard deck of 52 cards

– Plenty of beverage

Play

One player must volunteer themselves to become the dealer, who will deal 4 cards to each player and then deals 25 cards face down on the table in front of them in a 5 x 5 square, as shown below.

Beginning with the row of cards furthest away from the dealer, the cards are flipped over one at a time. If a player is able to match a card in their hand with a card which has been turned over, they are able to designate somebody to drink. The quantity which the chosen player is required to drink alters depending on where the turned over card is in the square:

• A card in the top row furthest from the dealer is worth one finger.

• A card in the second row from the top signifies two fingers.

• A card in the third row from the top signifies three fingers, and so on.

Once all the cards have been turned over, just re-deal the cards and start again!

Requirements

– One standard deck of 52 cards

– Plenty of beverages

– Three to twelve players

How to Play Forehead Idiot

A designated dealer deals each player one card face down. Each player is not permitted to see their own card at all. Once everybody has their card everyone then puts their card on their forehead fronting their opponents. It is absolutely imperative that nobody sees their own card. The person with the highest card wins. Plays begin then begin trying to get the other players to back out of the round.

Once there is just one person left with a card on their forehead they are deemed the winner of the round. Anybody that dropped out of the round prior to a victor being chosen whose card is higher than the winning card must drink.

After each round all cards are returned back to the deck, shuffled and a new round is started.

Give One, Take One https://cardgameheaven.com/drinking-card-games/give-one-take-one.html Sun, 03 Mar 2013 23:36:50 +0000 http://localhost:31499/?p=232 Give One, Take One Drinking Game is extremely fun to play. The rules are plain and simple and all the players can easily participate.

The post Give One, Take One appeared first on CardGameHeaven.

]]>
Requirements

– Two standard decks of 52 cards

– Plenty of beverage

Play

One player volunteers themselves as the dealer, who gives each player (including themselves) 4 cards, face up. They then deal a card off the, allowing everyone to see its face value. Each player who has a card that equals that number must say ‘I give a drink to (a player’s name)”. That player must then drink one full mouthful of their selected drink. If the player with the corresponding card has 2 of the same card, they are permitted to either order 2 different players to take a drink, or may “give” both drinks to one player.

Next, the dealer deals and displays another card; similar to before except this time, any player who has a corresponding card, must this time drink, instead of “giving a drink” (or 2 if they have 2 matching cards).

The dealer then deals an additional card, however this time, instead of the person who has the card offering only 1 drink, they must now offer out 2 drinks; which can be divided up any way.

Then the dealer deals again, displaying the card to the players and any person with the card dealt must drink 2 drinks.

Continue with this pattern until ‘Give 4, Take 4’ has finished, at which point the game returns back to ‘Give 1, Take 1. When the deck is totally flipped, pass the deck to the next dealer.
